Typescript diary of Milton P. Skinner for 1928, bound with string. Brief daily entries from January to July describe Skinner's work on various manuscripts, local weather, auto trips, and outings with his wife Eva, including a trip to Washington in April for the annual meeting of the Society of Mammalogists and a trip from the Skinner home in Jamestown, New York to Crater Lake in Oregon. Entries omitted from August through November. December entries relate Skinner's life in Long Beach, California and note arrangement of lecture engagements at high schools and social clubs in Southern California. Typescript and manuscript financial accounts for house and automobile expenses, as well as expenses for clothes, books, amusements, and personal items are appended. Typescript calculation of personal assets dated 1928 Jan 1 also bound with diary.
